Meet Emily
My family put down part-time roots in Accord, NY in 1973 and I grew up spending weekends and summers “in the country”. My love for the Hudson Valley grew and grew. I returned for college, met my husband, got married on a mountaintop, and brought both my children here within weeks of their birth. In 2020, our family relocated to Kingston and it has been the best move of our lives.
One of the biggest draws for us is the deeply rooted community, which has been both welcoming and inspiring. I am excited to support and engage with a wide variety of local organizations doing important work, including Mohonk Preserve, Seed Song Farm & Center, and Open Space Institute. I serve on the board of the Forest Lake Camp Alumni Association, which helps underserved kids access the summer camp experience, and as the Vice-President of our public school’s PTO. We are so lucky to call this magical, dynamic place home and I get a thrill out of helping others discover the area and find the right spot to lay down their local roots.
In NYC I worked for 15 years in hotels and restaurant leadership and then spent 8 years as the CEO of a strategic consulting firm focused on the hospitality, real estate, education, and healthcare sectors. Now, a little over two years into my real estate career, I am honored to be named President-Elect of the Ulster County Board of Realtors and to have been selected to participate in the NYSAR Leadership Academy. Both are wonderful opportunities to become more deeply involved in this industry and continue developing skills and relationships to better serve my clients and my community.
I am a passionate and persistent advocate. I enjoy country drives, old barns, and connecting with new people. I believe that success is built on tenacity, trust, and genuine hospitality. I am a careful listener and direct communicator, and I am committed to making your home buying and selling journey enjoyable, stress-free, and successful.
